Yesterday I got to pick up my TV and I my dad bought some new curtains for my bedroom. These keeps the light out quite good. Tomorrow I hope to get "home" and start living my life at the new place. I hope to see if the owner has managed to come up with some temporarily soluton for internet access. Wouldn't play any Dragon Age before I know I get the date associated with a date.

I'm only renting, but it is a large improvement from what I got today. Its more centralized and easier to heat up. Also it has a shorter way to school and work.

It is just incredible to have such a large screen and be able to view everything in HD (where possible). I have also configured my noisy desktop PC to become my temporary HTPC before I can manage to purchase more permanent.

XBMC is by far the most exciting technology I have used the past couple of years. The extendibility of the software is incredible. The plugins, scripts and skins. Currently I am using Aeon, which is most polished one available. To have a good overview of your movies and tv shows, its just a dream come true.

Origen S14V a enclosure for a future HTPC. To bad the price is way off budget...

Yesterday and today, I have been cleaning it up. Removing some old CSS and removed some formating not needed.

I plan on cleaning the CSS further. Because I have learned so much the past eight months, and today I can see back on the project and know what was done wrong and how to fix it.

Initially I hope to start on a rewrite. But the fact is that they haven't quite started to use it yet. And I really need to work on the service log feature. Only there were a way for me to work from home.

Maybe add the site to some external something...

Right after I started my previous job, I was introduced to GNU/Linux, (though I have tested Ubuntu before, now I got a real experience) more specifically Arch Linux. This is really a good distro. Pacman, which is the package manager for Arch, is just freaking awesome. I urge every person to try out Arch Linux. Even you are experienced or novice.

In this application, they need to store the students laptop tag with names, etc. What I have worked on now, is the add some sort of service log. To keep track of things done to each laptop.

I have also considering rewriting the whole system with CodeIgniter. After watching the CodeIgniter From Scratch-series from Jeffrey Way. I felt in love with the framework and really wont to implement it into my existing and future work.

Not sure where I might host it, but I would love to share my work. However it is really bad. At least the laptop database application.

In this show he plays the role of a awful doctor who is mean. But in the end, he manage to pull off curing his patients.
